This week our company once again connected with the mothership. We worked with Microsoft to enhance their sponsored hospitality suite, with a neat retro-flavored video gaming element.
This one night video game event in Baltimore, Maryland, was a part of the Gartner Portals, Content, & Collaboration Summit 2010. Microsoft was at the event to share a ton of insight on the powerful collaboration platform for the enterprise and the web, SharePoint 2010. It was neat to not only learn more about this powerful SharePoint tool and work along side the fine folks from Microsoft, but to also help enhance their event with our video game event management service.
Along with food, cocktails, and good conversation; we brought the party attendees back in time as we highlighted Pac-Man, Galaga, and other retro arcade games on two fun gaming stations. We utilized the Xbox 360, but added a spin to the controllers, by using the Xbox360 Fighting Stick EX 2. This really had people enjoying the joystick controller, while the raffled Xbox 360s didn't hurt either!
