Tournament structure will be bracketed rounds, Double Elimination.
Games will be played on MEDIUM skill level.
2 players will compete against each other in each match, using the “Pro Face Off” format, so each player plays the same notes. The winner of each match will advance to the next round. The loser will drop into the loser’s bracket or be eliminated from the event if it is their 2nd loss.
There will be 3 guest judges, who will score the performances on style and creativity. Each judge will determine the best performance and have a single vote to cast. The majority winner, out of the 3 judge’s votes, will receive a 20% bonus multiplier to be added to their final score. The guest judges will be provided by the tournament staff and can be altered, added to, or changed at anytime.
